Photography is a matter of perspective. The ocean stayed far from our eyes for a long time, hidden beneath the surface. Once in a while, a whale showed its tail, a dolphin would jump out of the water or the surface would get disturbed by the fury of a few sharks hunting. 

Thanks to recent advances in technologies, aerial views of the ocean have come to our doorstep through planes and drones, and even satellites. These new perspectives allow us to enjoy even more the beauty of this environment and its inhabitants. But it also shows us how its fragility and how fast it can change under the pressure of our society.
