Located on the west coast of Mexico, between the productive Gulf of California (or Sea of Cortez) and the mighty Pacific ocean, the peninsula of Baja California is a true Eldorado for marine life. While its arid lands seem to offer very few opportunities for life to develop from the outside, the region welcomes a thriving underwater life, gathering thousands of emblematic species.
It is in this region, among whales, sharks and sea lions, that my passion for wildlife photography started.
