Photography is an extremely efficient tool when it comes to raise awareness around a cause and to move people deep into their heart. For the past years, Ocean Culture Life has been building a collective of storytellers, artists, and ocean advocates, in order to transmit hope to people through the beauty of ocean life and communities. In 2022, I was lucky enough to join this incredible community to put my work at the service of a bigger cause.

‘The Ocean Speaks’ is a storybook gathering some of the best ocean stories from OCL members, aiming to show to the great public the stunning beauty of our oceans across the world, but also the threats and challenges its inhabitants are facing. I feel immensely proud to have been given the opportunity to contribute to this book by telling my story ‘Northern Colonies’, about seal colonies of my home region, in the North of France. It is an honor to be able to document the wildlife of my homeland and a huge honor to figure among such talented storytellers and artists
